The Circus Party

So I promised I’d share a little of the boys’ circus party two weekends ago. The “little” I was going to share turned out to be quite a lot so bare with me….

I got to feed my love of paper crafts with this party! The invitation was a sweetie bag with some peanut M&M’s and a personalised ADMIT ONE ticket for each little guest.

We forewent the cake in favour of baby cupcakes on a Cupcake stand – one side for 1-year old Connor and the other for 5-year old Dylan.

The gel balls in the buckets were a hit and Dylan is still playing with them in the bath every night!

Baby hotdogs in bags for the kids, baby doughnuts and chicken wings and big cupcakes for Moms and Dads…

We played a little bit of dress-up for some circus photos. Apart from the fun and some great memories I am using these pictures for personalised “thank-you” cards that look like a photobooth strip – they’re not done yet but I’ll share them once I’ve finished. The subway art birthday poster came from the girls at Eighteen25 – it’s a free printable so head on over for a girl’s and a boy’s version!

I think I enjoyed the party as much or more than the boys – it is so satisfying when a guest says “wow!”  Definitely a day to remember!
